Friday, February First - 7:30 in North hall

I'm planning the second war of the semester for this Friday (February 1). It will be in North hall again (mostly because I don't want to carry two loads of Nerf gear anywhere farther than the lobby) at 7:30 P.M.

All the usual things to remember:

• Meet in the North hall lobby at 7:30.
• Nerf ammunition (Darts and disks) will be provided.
• Bring any Nerf guns (or melee weapons) you want.
• I will also bring my Nerf blasters (and swords), which you are free to use.
• Spread the word to anyone who's interested.

If enough people show up this time we could play a Nerf HvZ (Humans vs. Zombies) match or two, those are always loads of fun.

I think I'll also bring my head-mounted camera this time and film some first-person footage of the war to be posted on YouTube, this blog, and DordtNerf''s Facebook page. Hopefully that will help get the word about DordtNerf around campus.

First war of 2013 - Saturday the 19th

So, the world survived December 2012 despite any prediction the Mayans may or may not have made and we're back at Dordt for spring 2013. I'd say we should celebrate this by shooting each other with Nerf guns this weekend! Also, the fact that some new Nerf guns came out in 2013 and I have 3 of them couldn't hurt. The war will be Saturday night at 8:00 in North hall. Here's some important details as always:

• Meet in the North hall lobby at 8:00 on Saturday (the 19th).
• Nerf ammo will be provided (Elite darts, Suction/Whistler darts, Vortex disks), no need to bring your own.
• Feel free to bring your own Nerf blasters or swords, but I will also be loaning out mine (including 3 new Elite blasters since last war).
• Spread the word to anyone who would be interested. It's sure to be a lot of fun with all the new gear to try out.
